How we ask

A banner appears on the first visit. Necessary items run immediately. Analytics and marketing tags do not load until you allow them. You can change the choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

Necessary

wfd_consent / localStorage wfd_consent_v1 — stores Allow / Necessary only / custom prefs. Duration: 12 months.
Security and load cookies set by the host if you deploy behind Cloudflare or similar.

Analytics (off by default)

Google Analytics 4, only if a measurement ID is placed in site config and you allow analytics. Used to see which pages Irish visitors open. IP anonymisation is requested when the tag loads.

Marketing (off by default)

Google Ads conversion / remarketing and Meta Pixel, only if those IDs are placed in site config and you allow marketing. Used to measure campaigns aimed at Ireland and to avoid showing ads to people who already enquired, where the platform allows it.

IDs are empty in the shipped config so no third-party ad tag fires until you add them. That is deliberate.

What we do not do

We do not drop a marketing pixel “for testing” before consent. We do not use cookies for credit scoring.

Browser controls

You can block cookies in the browser. Necessary storage may then forget your banner choice and show it again.
